Youth Baseball & Softball Commissioner: David
Grisby.
The Canton Park District baseball and softball
leagues use a grade level system in lieu of the
previous age system. The grade in which the child
will be going into during the Fall (2011/2012 School
Year) determines the league he/she will participate
in.
EFFECTIVE FOR THE 2008
SEASON: The Canton Park District will begin to utilize
pitching machines for certain leagues. The Midget
Leagues will utilize pitching machines for the entire
season. Minor Leagues will utilize pitching machines
until such time as they are no longer appropriate
during the season.
