The Canton Park District currently has nine (9) full time employees.

During the spring, summer and fall the District hires part-time and seasonal employees.
Areas in which we hire part-time & seasonal employees are:

• Maintenance
  • Mowing
  • Trimming
  • Painting
  • Landscaping
  • Ball Fields
  • Facility Maintenance
• Recreation
  • Lifeguards (Requires certifications through the American Red Cross)
  • Concessions
  • Program Assistants
  • Facility Supervisors
• Police
  • Patrol Officers (Requires certifications, training, & experience)

Applications are also available to pick up at the administrative office and the Big Creek Recreation Center.
